| Colonel. Garry Skaret was in the US Airforce he was stationed at different places but his daughter can remember him flying F-4 Phantoms out of Elgin Airforce Base in Fort Walton Beach in Flordia. He served with the Airforce in Vietnam, and he was shot down once but made it back to South Vietnam before his plane went in. He survied the crash and was picked up and returned to his base. Colonel. Skerat is to be honored, and remembered. A lot of our guys depended on guys like him in order to survive. It is people like him that risked their lives in order to help and save others. There have been many times that our guys needed and depended on that air support that people like Colonel Skerat provided. Colonel. Skerat Died later in the 1980's and we need to remember and honor guys like him. Below in a picture of me presenting his daughter a picture of a F-4 Phantom.
